Samantha Perry, BSN, RN

Sam was born and raised in Southwest Colorado. She enjoys traveling, reading, and eating good food. She graduated from the University of New Mexico with her BSN in 2019. Since then, she has worked as an Emergency Department nurse.

Sam is excited to join Mountain Range Wellness to support her community in achieving their health and wellness goals.

Amanda (Wilkin) Winter MSN-FNP-C

Amanda (Wilkin) Winter MSN-FNP-C is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a wife, mom, christian, and patriot. She believes in practicing preventive versus reactive medicine. Growing up in Cortez she understands this community and the difference in rural medicine compared to the easily accessible options of a city. Amanda is a 5th generation resident in Montezuma.

Prior to being a Nurse Practitioner, Amanda had been a nurse for 12 years. She started her career in the Denver area working in pediatrics where she worked with high medical needs children. Amanda then graduated from the University of Phoenix with her Bachelors in Nursing and moved home to Cortez to work on the medical-surgical floor of Southwest Memorial Hospital. Amanda's long-term goal was always to be a primary care provider. In 2017 she enrolled in graduate school to obtain her Master's degree at the University of Maryville in Saint Louis Missouri, graduating in 2020. Amanda has served patients in Albuquerque NM in a behavioral health hospital working as a medical hospitalist as well as a primary care provider in Montezuma and other parts of the four corners.

In 2006, she married her high school sweetheart and together they have 3 children. When she is not working to provide care as a Nurse Practitioner she enjoys spending time with her family and taking her children around the USA and Europe for travel. She has coached her daughters softball team and cheered on her son from the bleachers of many dirtbike tracks and football fields.

Amanda's approach to medicine is to work with her patients as a team in coordinating their care, as she believes this facilitates a good working relationship with the patient and delivers the best chance of a successful treatment.
